Jiahe Tantang Industrial Park was recognized as the Hunan Foundry and Forge Special Industrial Park by the Hunan Provincial Government.

Jiahe again awarded with The Foundry Capital in South China.

2016

Jiahe once again won the honorary title of The Foundry Capital in South China.

Jiahe won the honorary title of The Forge Hometown of China.

There were nearly 300 foundry enterprises in Jiahe. With an annual output of 500,000 tons of foundry products, it ranks first in Hunan Province, China.

Jiahe was awarded the plaque of Hunan Foundry Industry Base County.

2006

Jiahe County Foundry Association was established.

1993

General Xiao Ke returned to his hometown Jiahe, and wrote Foundry Plant of New China.

1953

Jiahe County Government established a local state-owned Jiahe Foundry in Tangcun Wei.

Major Event

Jiahe Foundry

Jiahe County was established in 1639, covering an area of 699 square kilometers, governing 9 towns and 1 township, with a population of 420,000. It is one of the counties with the smallest area and the highest population density in the province.
